1. Introduction

Welcome to KnowledgeDB.io. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. If you have any questions or concerns about this privacy notice, or our practices with regards to your personal information, please contact us.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Website or otherwise when you contact us.

The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Website, the choices you make and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect may include the following: names, phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, job titles, contact preferences, company name, website URL, and other similar information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information collected via our Website for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests, in order to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations.

4. Will Your Information Be Shared With Anyone?

We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations.

5. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy notice unless otherwise required by law.

6. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.

7. What Are Your Privacy Rights?

In some regions (like the European Economic Area), you have rights that allow you greater access to and control over your personal information. You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time.

8. Updates To This Notice

We may update this privacy notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Revised" date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.

9. LinkedIn Integration

When you connect a LinkedIn account to knowledgedb.io, we use the LinkedIn Marketing API solely to publish posts you have authored to your own LinkedIn page or profile, and to read aggregate engagement metrics (impressions, clicks, reactions) on those posts. We do not read your personal feed, your connections, your messages, or content authored by others. We do not sell, share, or use LinkedIn data for advertising or model training. You can revoke access at any time from LinkedIn's connected-apps settings; on revocation we delete the stored OAuth tokens within 7 days.

10. YouTube Data Handling

YouTube Data Handling. KnowledgeDB.io uses the YouTube Data API v3 (operated by Google under the Google Privacy Policy) to publish videos to the YouTube channel of the authorizing account. We request the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload scope solely to upload campaign videos, set their titles, descriptions, thumbnails, chapter timestamps, and visibility settings. We do not read viewer comments, viewer identities, watch history, or any other YouTube data.

Authorization tokens and any cached upload metadata (titles, descriptions, thumbnails staged for publishing) are retained on the publisher's local machine for as long as the connected YouTube channel remains authorized, and are deleted within 30 days after the authorization is revoked or the connection is removed. We do not retain copies of these tokens on any KnowledgeDB.io-controlled server.

If a user revokes authorization — whether via Google's account-permissions page, our in-app revoke action, or by deleting the local token file — the publishing client immediately ceases all youtube.upload calls, and the stored YouTube tokens together with any cached YouTube-derived metadata are deleted within 30 days. Users who want their YouTube-related data deleted immediately rather than within the 30-day window may email anindo@knowledgedb.io and we will action the deletion on receipt.

Authorization tokens are revocable at any time via https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. We do not share, sell, or transfer YouTube data to third parties.

11. Sub-processors

We use Google Firebase (hosting, App Hosting, Firestore) for the website and contact-form rail, Resend for transactional email (submitter auto-acknowledgement and owner notification), and Cloudflare Turnstile for bot mitigation on the contact form. Each provider processes data on our behalf under its respective Data Processing Agreement.

12. How Can You Contact Us About This Notice?

If you have questions or comments about this notice, you may email us at anindo@knowledgedb.io.
