1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using knowledgedb.io (the “Site”) or any service we offer through it (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the Services.
2. Service Description
KnowledgeDB.io helps customers reorganise an existing org chart into an AI team — the approach is designed so that each role is set up as a named specialist with a persona and a documented handoff, and so that the configured kit includes a quality-assurance step intended to review deliverables before they reach a human. We offer a paid discovery call and a configured kit to stand that team up, along with related consulting and engineering services. The Site itself is currently informational. Some content is generated or assisted by large-language-model and other AI systems. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.
3. User Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By using the Services you represent that (a) you are 18 or older, (b) you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and (c) any information you provide to us (for example through the contact form) is accurate and current. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. The Services are offered for business and professional purposes to companies, organizations, and other businesses, and are not directed to consumers; by using the Services you represent that you are acting for purposes relating to your trade, business, profession, or organization, and not as a consumer.
4. Account Responsibility
If we issue you any credentials, access tokens, or accounts in connection with the Services, you are responsible for keeping them confidential and for all activity that takes place under them. You must notify us promptly at anindo@knowledgedb.io if you believe your credentials have been compromised. You may not share, transfer, sublicense, or resell access to the Services without our prior written consent.
5. Acceptable Use
When using the Services you agree not to: (a) scrape, crawl, or otherwise harvest content or data from the Site except as expressly permitted; (b) resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Services or our content without our written permission; (c) interfere with or attempt to disrupt the Services, our infrastructure, or other users; (d) use the Services to transmit unlawful, infringing, harassing, or malicious material; (e) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source of any non-open component of the Services; or (f) use the Services in violation of applicable law, including export-control, sanctions, and data-protection laws. The Services are an information and engineering platform and are not a substitute for legal, regulatory, or compliance review by qualified counsel within your own organization.
6. Intellectual Property
The Site, the Services, and all underlying software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and other materials we provide are the property of KnowledgeDB.io or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for your own personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.
You retain all rights to any content you submit to us (for example through the contact form or as part of an engagement). By submitting content, you grant KnowledgeDB.io a worldwide, royalty-free license to use that content solely to provide and improve the Services and to respond to your request.
7. Disclaimers
The Services and all content on the Site are provided for general informational purposes only. Nothing on knowledgedb.io is, or should be interpreted as, legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice. Standing up an AI team involves writing role descriptions, deciding handoffs, and configuring a database; the customer remains responsible for the judgment, management, and accountability that stay with people, and for the accuracy of the knowledge that feeds the team.
Some content is produced or assisted by AI systems and may contain errors, omissions, or out-of-date information. We make no representation or warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any content. The Services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on the Services.
KnowledgeDB.io does not guarantee any particular business outcome, productivity gain, cost saving, or other result from standing up or operating an AI team. Deliverables produced with the assistance of a configured AI team may contain errors or omissions and are intended to be reviewed by a qualified person before they are relied upon. The customer remains responsible for reviewing, verifying, and deciding whether to act on any such deliverable.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KnowledgeDB.io and its owner, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Services in any twelve (12) month period will not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you actually paid to KnowledgeDB.io for the Services during that period, or (b) zero, where the Services were provided to you free of charge.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability, or any right or remedy, that cannot be excluded or limited under any law applicable to you, including any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your country or state of residence. Where any limitation or disclaimer in these Terms is held unenforceable in your jurisdiction, it applies to the maximum extent permitted there and the remainder of these Terms continues in effect.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or if continuing to provide the Services would expose us to legal or operational risk. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 6, 7, 8, 11, and 12) will survive.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice — for example, by email to the address you most recently provided to us, or by a banner on the Site homepage — before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of an update means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Services, are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute or claim, and you and KnowledgeDB.io each submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
12. Contact
